Popular Twin Falls Beach and Boat Access Closed Until 2025

Its presence has led to the closure of numerous boat ramps and docks, impacting recreational activities and the local economy.

We knew we had to get on the water as the forecast for the future only shows rain and gloomy days. But it was a little late in the afternoon and we couldn’t travel far. Our options at that point were Centennial Park or Murtaugh Lake. While we appreciate the work they are doing at Centennial Park with the boat inspections and cleaning, we decided it was a better use of our time to head to Murtaugh Lake. It’s a further drive, but parking is never an issue, and no time is used at a boat cleaning station.

I’m excited about the new amenities, but I’m also concerned about the impact on the natural beauty of the park. The park is a popular destination for picnics and outdoor activities, and the upgrades are expected to enhance these experiences. However, the park’s natural beauty is a key attraction for many visitors, and the upgrades could potentially impact that.

## North Park at CJ Strike: A Fall Fun Destination

The boating season at North Park at CJ Strike is drawing to a close, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end. While the boat ramp will be closed for dock upgrades starting October 7th, the Power Plant Park remains a fantastic option for family activities. The Power Plant Park offers a variety of amenities that cater to different interests.
