Pronouncement of Free Fishing Weekend
As previously stated, Free Fishing Weekend was made a thing through Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ proclamation, with licenses and trout stamps being waived during the event.

While free fishing licenses and trout stamps will be issued, daily limits and fishing regulations will still be enforced during the event. The license requirement will be suspended at noon on June 6, before being reinstated at 12:00 a.m. on June 9.
